    • New car, new chance?

    Numerous technical changes in the DTM regulations were the basis for the development of the new DTM AMG C 63 in 2015. The aerodynamic vehicle is equipped with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter V8 engine and develops an output of around 550 hp. At the 2017 season opener, British driver Gary Paffett was able to take advantage of the new racing car at Hockenheim, but ultimately only finished tenth in the overall drivers' standings. Quite different in 2018: the driver of the Mercedes-AMG DTM HWA team was able to show everything he had in the hood again and win the DTM championship title for the second time in his career.
