Guarantee

Warranty Policy 

The warranty covers manufacturer defects only and eligibility for coverage is determined by our in-house technician after careful examination of the problem. A manufacturer defect is defined as a product failure due to a deficiency in the direct materials and/or manufacturing of the product during its process.

User-created product failures are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty, nor are failures relating to worn-out products that have reached the end of their service life. The lifespan of a product is defined as the normal lifespan under normal use of the said product. If a product fails due to the fact that it has reached this point in less time than its stipulated warranty , this does not indicate a manufacturer defect.

The warranty does not cover any loss or damage caused by negligence, misuse, modifications, repairs, etc. Changing the voltage will void the warranty. The warranty does not cover punctured or flat tires, scratches or accidents.

Breakage or Defect under Warranty (What to do?)

If a delivery customer receives a defective product or notices that there are broken or missing parts, he must report this problem by email to the seller within 3 days following receipt of the item.

He must subsequently return to the 10 days the defective product or parts, if he wishes to benefit from the sending of replacement parts, a refund or an exchange.

After this period, the customer must keep their product and assume the cost of replacement parts and/or repair costs if applicable.

The costs of returning any defective parts or products purchased on delivery, are the responsibility of the customer. Turbo Kids will bear the cost of returning the product or parts to be replaced.

Exchanges or refunds are only offered if the item is new, unused and defective or damaged.

Returned items must be in the original packaging and include all parts including installation instructions and manuals. All returns are inspected upon arrival for damage or missing parts. Exchanges or refunds will not be processed on items returned in used/damaged condition or with missing parts.

Upon acceptance of the return after inspection of the defective item or parts, we will resend you the parts, exchange or refund the cost of the item and sales tax if applicable, less the original shipping charge. .

If a vehicle is purchased on Delivery , any defective part under warranty will be exchanged for the original part. The costs of returning the defective part are the responsibility of the customer . Upon receipt of the defective part, we will send you a new part at our expense.

If a vehicle is purchased in Store , any defective part under warranty will be exchanged for the original part. the costs of returning the defective part and shipping the replacement part are the responsibility of the customer .

TURBO KIDS undertakes to send or reimburse the customer the value of the damaged part if it is unavailable and does not harm the operation of the vehicle.

Labor is not included for any vehicle that is brought back to the workshop for a change of part(s) even if the vehicle is under warranty.

If the vehicle is ASSEMBLED it must be returned unused and not show signs of wear (including wheels), scratches or other alterations.

If the vehicle has been USED and or DAMAGED, it will not be exchanged or refunded. It will be REPAIRED according to the conditions stipulated by the guarantee.

TURBO KIDS then undertakes to respect the guarantee stipulated at the time of purchase as well as the legal guarantee of the product.

All repairs are carried out on site by an electro-mechanic at the workshop located in our store by appointment only.

Labor is not included for all repairs carried out at our workshop. Even if the vehicle is still under warranty .

The hourly rate is $45/hour

There is no home service for vehicle repairs. You must bring your vehicle to us by your own means at your own expense, even if you live far from our store. This is valid for delivery and in-store purchases.

Even if you live far away, our electro-mechanic does not provide extended telephone consultations for vehicle repairs. If after 5 minutes of telephone conversation, the cause of the problem has not been identified, we invite you to make an appointment for an on-site diagnosis in the workshop at our store. Your time is valuable, and that of our repairer too.

DAYMAK product warranty

(1 Year), Parts on DAYMAK products (Labor extra), excluding wearable items such as: braking components (pads, rims), tubes, tires, rim tape, handles, parts transmission (chain, chain rings, and similar items). (1 year), on the frame. (6 Months) on batteries and chargers.

GIO product warranty

(6 Months), Parts on GIO products (Labor extra), excluding wearable items such as: braking components (pads, rims), tubes, tires, rim tape, handles, parts transmission (chain, chain rings, and similar items). (6 Months) on chargers and (3 Months) on batteries .

Guarantee for PEG PÉREGO products

(1 Year), Motor and batteries. (extendable to 2 years online, on the Peg Pérego website) The warranty does not cover aesthetic elements (accessories, lights, mirrors, doors) ( labour extra)

Product warranty 12 VOLTS cars

(6 Months), Engine and (3 Months), Batteries. The warranty does not cover aesthetic elements (Accessories, lights, mirrors, doors) ( Labor extra)

CARRERA product warranty

(12 Months), Parts. The warranty does not cover aesthetic elements (Accessories, lights, mirrors, doors)

Guarantee of Essence products 

Warranty of (30 days), on Engines (4 Strokes), (Labor extra). Guaranteed initial start-up only for other components. Start-up must be done at one of our Partner garages.

Gasoline Pocket Bikes 

Pocket Bikes with (2-Stroke) Engines have no warranty. Assembly and preparation are not included and are the buyer's responsibility.

Warnings

TURBO KIDS is not responsible for any injury that may occur while using any of our selected brand products, such as Electric Bikes, Scooters, Quads, Electric ATVs, Motocross, Motorcycle, 12 Volt Cars, Scooters and others. Please wear a helmet at all times and review the user manual and our safety tips page that came with your vehicle before using the product.

Our technician cannot explain how to make repairs or diagnose service issues over the phone. All service is carried out in store. An exception applies to new online purchases, technical support is available. Visit our Service and Labor Rates page for more information.

Customers bringing bicycles into service are required to unload their bicycle from their vehicle/trailer themselves. TURBO KIDS staff are not authorized to provide assistance in the unloading process due to insurance coverage and liability issues. Customers who collect vehicles and load them into trucks/trailers are solely responsible for loading and securing the vehicles. TURBO KIDS staff are not authorized to provide assistance in the loading and securing process due to insurance coverage and liability concerns.

*If you are unable to load your vehicle into your car or truck and require transportation to our facility, please inquire about pickup options by calling us.

Arrival of your vehicle for service

Our goal is always to provide full service on all of our customers' vehicles as quickly as possible, to ensure they get the most out of their season. Sometimes we need to order parts or the repair requires more time to process properly and we need to keep a customer's vehicle for more than a day. After receiving a phone call indicating the repairs have been completed, customers have five (5) business days to come and collect their vehicle. If vehicle is not picked up after five (5) business days, customers will be charged a storage fee of $20.00 per week. Due to space limitations, we are unable to keep vehicles in the shop after repairs are completed.
